Farmersburg- Charles Frank McNichols, 68, died Sunday in Guttenberg Municipal Hospital after a long illness. He was a retired draftsman in the Clayton County Engineer's office and had operated a service station.

Surviving are his wife, Juneaver; one daughter, Laura Moser of Elkader; two sisters, Carrie Wright of Council Bluffs, and Mary Ellis of Omaha, Neb.; and four grandchildren.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, St. John's Lutheran Church. Burial: Farmersburg-Wagner Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Schultz's in Monona.
