Guttenberg- Bernice E. Amundson Benzing, 86, died Tuesday night, May 15, 2001, in the Guttenberg Care Center after a long illness. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, St. John Lutheran Church, Farmersburg, by the Rev. Bruce Hanson. Burial: Farmersburg-Wagner Cemetery, rural Farmersburg. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Leonard Funeral Home, Elkader, and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Survivors include a son, Lloyd Amundson Jr. of Livingston, Wis.; and four daughters, Marlene Meyer, Linda Buechler and Rita Leliefeld, all of Guttenberg, and Rose Mary Tielbar of Farmersburg.
