Oelwein Daily Register, Tuesday, 7 Jan. 1975.

Strawberry Point- Mrs. Lucy M. Schmidt, 83, of St. Olaf died Monday at the Lutheran Nursing Home in Strawberry Point.

Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Thursday, at Norway Lutheran Church, rural St. Olaf. Burial will be in the Farmersburg-Wagner cemetery at Farmersburg.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Witt Funeral Home, Elkader.

Survivors include her husband, Arthur, at the nursing home in Strawberry Point; a son, LeRoy Schmidt of Waukon; a daughter, Mrs. Gilman (Helen) Johnson of St. Olaf; six grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
