Thurs., 12 June 1902, Elkader Register, page 2, column 4: Many of our readers remember Henry Beeler, who was for a number of years Sunday School Missionary for Clayton County. Word comes from Spokane, Washington, where he has resided since leaving the county, of his death, which occurred on the 15th of May, after an illness of three weeks from heart trouble. He leaves a wife and three children, the youngest son with him. Mr. Beeler became well known in his seven years of labor in Sunday School work in this county, and his friends will extend to the bereaved family a hearty sympathy in this hour of their sore affliction.--Monona Leader.
