Died, at Elkader, on Wednesday, September 21, 1860, Mira Effie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Partch, aged one month and 14 days.

The sorrowing parents, attended by a host of friends, conveyed the last remains of Mira to her resting place the following day.

She had but just come among us, when she departed for that home which all mortals strive.
