Cedar Rapids Gazette, Sat., 19 May 1951.

Elkader- Services for Dan Barton, 72, who died Friday in a Rochester hospital, will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's church. The body was returned to the Witt funeral home here Friday night and taken to the family residence.

(An article the previous day relates that Mr. Barton was a longtime Elkader stock buyer.)

Burial is in St. Joseph's cemetery. Dates on gravestone are 1878-1951
