Strawberry Point- Mrs. David Hamlett, 52; suddenly Saturday at her home here; nee Augusta Rose Mary Kleinlein, daughter of Anton and Hattie (Miller) Kleinlein, Jan. 1, 1899; married to David Hamlett June 25, 1924, at Strawberry Point; member of the Lutheran Ladies Aid and the American Legion auxiliary; leaves husband, two daughters, Norma Jean, student at Iowa State Teachers college at Cedar Falls, and Hattie JoAnn, at home; one son, Marvin Wayne, at home; her father, Anton, and stepmother, Anna, at Strawberry Point; one sister, Mrs. James Gant (A / followed the letter t in Gant, possibly a y or z.), Swisher, Ia.; one brother, Ben Kleinlein, Strawberry Point; preceded by an infant son, Maurice James, and her mother; funeral, 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Gill chapel and at 2 in Immanuel Lutheran church; burial in Strawberry Point cemetery.
