Elkader- Mrs. C. C. Reidel, 60, former Elkader resident, died Jan. 10 at her home in High Grove, Calif. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. William Asmus of Independence.

Word was received here Tuesday of the death of Mrs. C.C. Reidel, 60, in her home at High Grove, Calif. Services and burial were in California.

The former Rose Quinn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Quinn, was born and raised in Elkader. She was married to Dr. C.C. Reidel, a former Elkader veterinarian. They moved to Austin, Minn., about 25 years ago and eight years ago went to California.

Survivors include her husband; three children, the Rev. Father C. Reidel, Chicago; Richard of High Grove, Calif.; and Elinn in New York state; also a sister, Mrs. Wm. Asmus, Independence; five brothers, Ray, Neil, Paul, Carl, all of California; Phillip of Illinois.

Her parents and a brother James preceded her in death.
