Iowa Deaths:

Strawberry Point- L. H. Bassett, 91, died Wednesday in a Chicago nursing home. Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Congregational church. Burial will be in Strawberry Point cemetery.

Funeral services were held at the Congregational church here on Saturday, Sept. 9, at 2:00 p.m. for L.H. Bassett, 91, who died at a nursing home in West Chicago, Wednesday morning, Sept. 6. A former Strawberry Point resident, he owned a farm in the Edgewood-Littleport vicinity, but for some years has been in Chicago.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Paul Barthel of Chicago and John Bassett, a brother, of Arlington.

The Rev. B.H. Shaw was in charge of the funeral services and interment was in the Strawberry Point cemetery.
