Strawberry Point- Funeral services were held Tuesday for Daniel Joseph Ivory, 77, who died in California Saturday.

He was a son of James and Catherine Ivory, born near Strawberry Point Feb. 4, 1872. Nov. 29, 1906, he was married at Staples, Minn., to Julia McDermott. They spent most of their married life on a farm north of Strawberry point where their eight children were born. Mrs. Ivory died Jan. 25, 1936.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Charles Grant, Oakland, Calif.; Mrs. Walter Ellenbecker, Sioux Falls, S.D.; and Mrs. John Turnbull, Santa Rosa, Calif.; five sons, James, Chicago; Phillip, Oakland, Calif.; Thomas, Santa Rosa, Calif.; Charles, Alameda, Calif.; and Daniel Jr., Fresno, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Henry, Strawberry Point; and 22 grandchildren.
