Elkader- Miss Louise Eggiman, _5 (looks like 65 or 85), died Friday. Services, Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in Fred Eggiman home, 2 p.m. in Peace Evangelical and Reformed Church.

Funeral services for Miss Louise Eggiman were held from the Fred Eggiman home at 1:30 Sunday afternoon to the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church in Elkader at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Paul Kitterer officiating. Burial was in the East Side cemetery.

Miss Eggiman had been in failing health for the past year. In September of 1949 she moved to the home of her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Eggiman, Elkader, where she died Thursday evening, March 02, 1950. She had reached the age of 65 years, four months and twenty days.

Louise Augusta Eggiman, daughter of Jacob and Friedericka Heuer Eggiman, was born Oct. 12, 1884, on the Eggiman homestead in Boardman township six and a half miles northwest of Elkader. She received her education in the district school No. 06 in the same township. Her parents moved to Elkader in 1913 and Louise remained on the farm to keep house for her brothers. She joined her parents in Elkader in 1916. Her mother preceded her in death in 1921 and her father in 1932.

Louise was a confirmed member of the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church of Elkader and a member of the Womens Guild of that church.

She is survived by one sister and two brothers, namely: Mrs. Charles (Alma) Munger of Delavan, Wis., Fred of Elkader and Otto on the home farm in Boardman township. Also twelve nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death besides her parents were two brothers and a sister who died in childhood.

Pallbearers were: Alva C. Edwards, Albert Breitsprecher, M. J. Garaghty, Fred Ihlenfeldt, Carl Lenth and Pete Thein.

Relatives from a distance who attended the funeral were: Mrs. Charley Munger, Gladys and Harold, Delavan, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Munger, Mrs. Clarence Bothe, Lake Beulah, Wis.; Mrs. Adolph Iseli and son Gene, Janesville, Wis.; Mrs. Les Davis, Oconomowoc, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rugland, St. Olaf; Mr. and Mrs. Glen Walter, Mr. and Mrs. Cliford Walter, Mrs. Maud Walter all of Luana; Mrs. Cora Krambeer and Mr. and Mrs. Arno Krambeer all of Postville; Mrs. Henry Kottman and Roy of Monona; Mrs. Chris Marting, Miss Laura Milewsky, Mr. and Mrs. Realto Milewsky, Mrs. Alice Hedeman, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Milewsky and Ivanell, McGregor; Mrs. Martha Dettman, and Arnold, Luana; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Felker, Lewis, Iowa; August Lemke, Griswold, Iowa.
