Elkader- Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 22, 2 p.m. at the Peace Church in Elkader for Harold H. Glawe, 39, RR Elkader. He died Thursday at the Prairie du Chien hospital.
Burial is scheduled at East Side Cemetery. The Witt Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Survivors include his wife; three children, Carol, Bradley and Gene, all at home; a brother, Edwin, Guttenberg; an identical twin brother, Harley, RR Elkader; five sisters and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Glawe, RR Elkader.

Harold Glawe - Funeral services were held for Harold Glawe, St. Olaf, Sunday, May 22, 1966, at 2 p.m., in the Peace United Church of Christ at Elkader with the Rev. Alvin F. Volle officiating. Mrs. Jean Welsh accompanied Mrs. Lenora Mae Anderson and Bob Allen, who provided appropriate music.
Pallbearers were John Maehl, Jr., Leon Hoth, Leo Koehn, (all neighbors), Elmer Schuety, Curtis Rentschler, Ray Koehn.
Harold Henry Glawe, son of Herman and Louisa Polkow Glawe, was born September 17, 1926, at Elkader and died May 19, 1966, at the General Hospital, Prairie du Chien, where he had been a patient the past seven days following a heart attack.
He was baptized Jan. 30, 1927, by the pastor of the Zion Lutheran Church, Clayton Center, and confirmed June 22, 1941, at the Peace United Church of Christ, Elkader, where he was a member at the time of his death.
Mr. Glawe received his schooling in the rural school and lived his entire life on the farm which he operated with his twin brother, Harley.
He was a member of the Elkader Cooperative board, a position which he held the past seven years and had served on the St. Olaf creamery board for a time.
Mr. Glawe was married to Bernice Schmalfeld in 1948. They were the parents of three children, Carol Ann, Bradley and Gene.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother in infancy.
He is survived by his wife and three children, all at home, and two brothers, Edwin Glawe of Guttenberg, and Harley of St. Olaf, and five sisters, Mrs. Rosina Fette, St. Olaf; Mrs. Ewald (Mabel) Thiese and Mrs. Roy (Hattie) Lembke, Elkader; Mrs. Harold (Amanda) Ihde and Mrs. Orville (Bernice) Johnson, Farmersburg, and many other relatives.
