Elkader- Francis Wareham, 60, died in Chicago Wednesday. Services will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in Oelke Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church.

Funeral services for Francis Thomas Wareham, 58, were held from the Oelke funeral home at 9:30 o'clock Saturday morning, April 15, to St. Joseph's church, Elkader, at 10 o'clock. The Rev. Father B. H. Skahill officiated. Burial was in St. Joseph's cemetery.
Mr. Wareham died in a hospital in Chicago Tuesday, April 11. He had been ill for the past three months. Death was due to cancer.
Francis Thomas Wareham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Wareham, was born in Elkader Oct. 23, 1891. He spent most of his life as a farmer in the Elkader vicinity. Two years ago he went to Epworth and a year later to Chicago. He was a member of St. Joseph's church.
He is survived by one brother and three sisters: namely, George Warehaam, Sioux Falls, S.D.; Mrs. Julia Heiden, Elkader; Mrs. Grace Fischer and Mrs. Florence Calwell, both of Chicago.
Pallbearers were Nick Finnegan, M. J. Garaghty, Carl Roeder, Matt Feeney, James Kelleher and George Kuehl.
