Funeral services for Mr. Henry Kamin were held at the Lutheran church Sunday at one o'clock p.m. Rev. H. P. Kumpf officiated and interment was made in the Luana Lutheran Cemetery.
Mr. Kamin transacted business in Monona on Thursday afternoon and while in the office of Attorney D. O. Meier he was suddenly stricken with paralysis. Dr. McNamee was called and the stricken man was taken to the Monona hospital, where he passed away at 9:45 o'clock the same evening at the age of 53 years.
Mr. Kamin was born May 25, 1877, near St. Olaf, Clayton County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kamin. When five years old with his parents he moved to the farm he now owned about a mile and a half west of Luana.
On May 1, 1900, he was united in marriage to Miss Ida Schroeder and three children were born to this union.
He is survived by his widow, two sons, Lester of Rudd and Willard at home; one daughter, Mrs. Milo Kalke of Floyd; one grandchild; also one brother, Louis Kamin of Floyd.
