Guttenberg- Michael James "Rieser" Ries, 45, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005, in University Hospitals from injuries suffered in a work accident. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, St. Mary's Catholic Church, Guttenberg, by the Rev. Marvin Bries. Burial: St. Mary's Cemetery, Guttenberg. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home & Cremation Service.

Survivors include his wife, Jill Ries; two sons, Andy Ries and Mat Ries, both of Guttenberg; his mother, Kay Ries of Guttenberg; three sisters, Theresa Palas of Volga, Susan Fassbinder of Guttenberg and Brenda Hartmann of Wonder Lake, Ill.; two brothers, Steven Ries of Cedar Rapids and Patrick Ries of Farmers Branch, Texas.
