Guttenberg- Ruth Eda Anna Heitman, 84, died Monday, March 6, 1995, in Guttenberg Care Center after a long illness. Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, St. John Lutheran Church, Guttenberg, by the Rev. Harold McMillin. Burial: Guttenberg City Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg.
Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn of Sumner; a son, Harold of Guttenberg; and a sister, Alo Moser of Guttenberg.

Services for Ruth Heitman, 84, of Guttenberg were scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, at St. John Lutheran Church, to be conducted by Pastor Harold McMillin.
Mrs. Heitman died of cancer Monday, March 6, 1995, at the Guttenberg Care Center.
Visitation was Tuesday at the Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Guttenberg City Cemetery with the following casket bearers: Joe Moser, Roger Moser, Paul Herboldsheimer, Richard Krob and Bill Wieben.
Ruth Eda Anna Heitman was born in Clayton Township on Oct. 2, 1910, a daughter of William and Louise (Tuecke) Mahowald. She was educated in the Clayton County schools and graduated from Guttenberg High School in 1930. She taught school for four years in Jefferson Township prior to her marriage to Joe Heitman in Chicago on June 11, 1937. They lived in Milwaukee, Wis., for 11 years. After her husband died in a car accident on Nov. 6, 1948, Mrs. Heitman and their two children moved to Guttenberg.
She was employed as a hot lunch cook by the Guttenberg School for 13 years and by Utah Electronics for seven years. She held many church offices.
Survivors include one son, Harold (and Alice) of Guttenberg; one daughter, Marilyn Heitman of Sumner; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Alo Moser of Guttenberg.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe; and one sister, Helen Herboldsheimer.
