Farmersburg- Eugene Emmett Trappe, 52, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2002, in his home following a sudden illness. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, St. John Lutheran Church, Farmersburg, by the Rev. Bruce Hanson. Burial: Monona City Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Leonard Funeral Home, Monona, and after 10 a.m. Monday at the church.

Survivors include his wife, Kathryn; two daughters, Melissa Miene of Farmersburg and Victoria Burgess of Cedar Rapids; his father, Emmett of Monona; and four brothers, David of Monona, Jim of Postville, Mark of Harpers Ferry and Danny of Guttenberg.
