Guttenberg- Lyle Edwin Phelps, 84, of Guttenberg, died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008, at River Living Center, Guttenberg, after a short illness. Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Guttenberg, where the family will greet friends from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial: Guttenberg City Cemetery. The Rev. Penny Hansel will officiate.

Survivors include two daughters, Gail Rausch of Monroe, Wis., and Jeanette Hill of Indian Trail, N.C.; a son, Larry of Evans, Colo.; three sisters, Lillian Handke of Guttenberg, Lois Hill of Waukegan, Ill., and Lila Bushaw of Plant City, Fla.; and two brothers, Lowell and Lenny, both of Colesburg.
