ALLENSTEIN, OPPERMAN

Strawberry Point, Ia. - Funeral services for August F. Allenstein, 78, who died Saturday at the home of his sister, Mrs. Anna Opperman, where he had been cared for since July, were held at Gill funeral chapel Monday afternoon. Burial was in St. Sebald cemetery.

Mr. Allenstein, son of Frederick and Katherine Allenstein, was born near Lamont, Ia., Aug. 23, 1866. He live in this community all but 13 years of his life, which was spent on ranches in Canada and North Dakota.

Surviving, besides his sister, Mrs. Opperman, is a brother, Henry Allenstein, of Lamont.
