Creston News Advertiser, Creston, Iowa, Thur., 5 Dec. 1957.
Wilton Junction- Kenneth Henry Pink, 23, a Davenport barber, was killed early today in a car-truck collision on U.S. 6 about five miles west of here.
The truck driver, David Niacewander, 22, of Ocheyedan, told highway patrolmen the approaching car veered suddenly to the side of the road and turned broadside into the path of the truck. Niacewander said it appeared a tire might have blown out on the car.
Niacewander and William Lee Logan, 19, of Spirit Lake, who was asleep in the sleeper part of the truck cab, got Pink's body out of the wreckage of the car just before it caught fire.
(NOTE: Kenneth is buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Guttenberg, Iowa.)
