Guttenberg- Chris A. Frommelt, 73, who managed the Guttenberg button factory for 50 years until it closed in 1959, died Saturday night following a sudden illness.

Mr. Frommelt had also served several terms as mayor of Guttenberg and was a member of the school board for many years. Surviving are two sons, Claude and Clifford, and a daughter, Mrs. Ray Dewey, all of Guttenberg; ten grandchildren, nine brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Frommelt died in 1961.

Services: Tuesday at 10, St. Mary's Catholic Church.
