Tuesday night occurred the death of John Price of this city after but a very brief illness. The funeral will be held from the house at 2 p.m. Friday, Rev. Holden conducting the services.

Johnathan Price was born in Bucks Co., Penn., Nov. 24th, 1839, and departed this life Jan. 1st, 1908. The deceased came to Joe Davies Co., Ill., in 1866. He was married in 1869 to Miss Emma Neal. To this union were born five children, all of whom, with the widow, are left to mourn his loss. The funeral services were conducted from the house at 2 p.m. Friday, Rev. Halden being in charge.
