Cedar Rapids- Delbert L. "Dabby" Kann, 62, of 428 B Ave. NW, died Sunday evening at Veterans Hospital in Iowa City following a brief illness.

Born Nov. 3, 1921, at Guttenberg, he served in the Navy during World War II and had been a Cedar Rapids resident for 28 years. He was a life member of Moose Lodge 304.

Surviving are a son, Rodney of Mason City, Iowa; a daughter, Susan Patten of Cedar Rapids; five granddaughters; a brother, Eugene of Cedar Rapids; and a sister, Bernette Nuehring of Guttenberg.

Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Kuba Funeral Home East by the Rev. Eugene Kutch of St. Jude's Catholic Church. Burial: 4 p.m. Wednesday in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Guttenberg. Rosary: 7 tonight at the funeral home, where friends may call after 1 p.m. today.
