Marquette- Nobel E. Wells, 94, died Tuesday morning at the Prairie du Chien, Wis., hospital. He was a retired Milwaukee Road employee.

Surviving are his wife, Mary; a son, Gordon of Dubuque; a daughter, Mrs. Kent McAdo of Onawa, Iowa; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren

Services: 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Thornburg's in McGregor, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Burial: Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
