Monona- Irene M. Bade, 88, formerly of Decorah and West Union, died Tuesday, February 4, 1997, in Central Community Hospital, Elkader, after an illness. Services: 11 a.m. Friday, St. Paul Lutheran Church, Monona. Burial: West Union City Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Schultz's Funeral Home, Monona.

Survivors include one daughter, Donna Begalske of Monona; a son, Gerald of Davenport; and a sister, Cleo Reiche of Camarillo, Calif.

Also surviving are eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
