Guttenberg- Geraldine "Gerry" C. Kann, 53, died Friday in the American International Hospital, Zion, Ill.

Surviving are her husband, Owen; two sons, Roger of Spokane, Wash., and Kenneth, at home; six daughters, Connie Anderegg, Lisa Bernhard and Sharon, all of Guttenberg, Kathy Kilstofte of Toledo, Julie Nelson of Colman, S.D., and Carole Mackey, of Webster City; three sisters, Marie Dickman and Bernadette Stroschein, both of Garnavillo, and Leonilla Moser of Elkader; three brothers, Joseph Schmelzer of Guttenberg, Lorin Schmelzer of Monona and James Schmelzer of Garnavillo, and 11 grandchildren.

Services: 11:30 a.m. Monday, St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call 2 to 9 p.m. today at Tuecke-Allyn's, where a wake service will be held at 8 tonight.
