St. Olaf- Ilse P. Zerhusen, 67, a retired Garnavillo High School teacher, died Thursday morning at University of Minnesota Hospitals after a short illness.

Surviving are her husband, the Rev. John Zerhusen; a daughter, Kirsten of Minneapolis; and one sister, Eva Fogarty of Clearwater Beach, Fla.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church in Clayton Center. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday at Leonard-Witt's in Elkader, where there will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
