Strawberry Point- Robert "Bob" Slama, 73, died Thursday, July 22, 1999, in Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Iowa City, after a short illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Roberson Funeral Home Chapel, Strawberry Point, where friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Burial: Floral Hills Cemetery, Hazelton.

Survivors include his wife Marietta; and two stepsons, Duane Derr of Garner and Dell Derr of Chilton, Wis.
