Decorah- Bernice L. Bowlus, 91, died Thursday morning, May 2, 2002, in Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital following a long illness. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, First Lutheran Church, by the Rev. Steven Jacobsen. Burial: Garnavillo Cemetery, Garnavillo. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Fjelstul Funeral Home, and after 10 a.m. Monday at the church.

Survivors include her husband, Anthony; a son, Nick of Oronoco, Minn.; a brother, Cornelius Tuecke of Guttenberg; and a sister, Eunice Jones of St. Petersburg, Fla.
