Cedar Rapids Gazette, Thur., 24 Feb. 1994.

Osterdock- Lawrence J. Petsche, 71, died Wednesday morning, Feb. 23, 1994, in his home after a brief illness. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, St. Mary's Catholic Church, Guttenberg. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery, Guttenberg. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, where a wake service begins at 8 tonight.

Survivors include his wife, Leola; two daughters, Lisa Johnson of Guttenberg and Sheila Nemmers of Lakewood, Colo.; four sons, Donald of Cedar Rapids, Jerome of Farwell, Minn., Robert of Guttenberg and Daryl of Osterdock; a brother, Lavern of Dyersville; and two sisters, Bernice Blunk of Garnavillo and Irene Jaeger of Hopkinton

Also surviving are nine grandchildren.
