Garnavillo- Edward Tuecke, 86, operator of funeral homes here and in Guttenberg, died Friday.

Mr. Tuecke founded the funeral home here in 1928 and opened the Guttenberg home in recent years in association with his son, Cornelius. He was president of the Farmers Mutual Insurance Assn. until his retirement last year and a member of the Clayton county fair board. He was a former county assessor.

Survivors include his son and two daughters, Mrs. A. J. Bowlus of Decorah and Mrs. J. H. Jones of Florida.

Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Peter's Lutheran church.
