Guttenberg- Edith Alma Borcherding, 85, died Thursday, April 22, 1999, in Guttenberg Municipal Hospital, Guttenberg, after a short illness. Services: 2 p.m. Sunday, Trinity Lutheran Church, Guttenberg, by the Rev. Gregory Eilers. Burial: Guttenberg City Cemetery, Guttenberg. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg, and from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Survivors include her husband, Vuegene; two sons, Fred Borcherding of Bartlett, Ill., and George Schuldt of Iowa City; a daughter, Emilie Latta of Anchorage, Alaska; and a brother, William Thiese of Guttenberg.
