Oelwein Daily Register, Wed., 22 July.

Strawberry Point- Charles Galer, farmer of rural Elkader (Mederville) area, died at the Elkader Hospital July 20. Services will be held Thursday, July 23, 1:30 p.m. at the Gill Chapel in Strawberry Point.

Mr. Galer is survived by one brother, Michael Galer, Elkader; three sisters, Mrs. Emmett (Cora) Randall, Aurora; Mrs. Ira (Catherine) Gordon, Strawberry Point, and Elner Galer, Elkader.

Burial will be in the Mederville Cemetery.
