Garber- Iona W. Doeppke, 78, died Tuesday night, Sept. 15, 1998, in the Guttenberg Care Center after a long illness. Services: 11 a.m. Friday, Zion Lutheran Church, Clayton Center, by the Rev. Ruth Ann Shriver. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Leonard Funeral home, Elkader, and after 10 a.m. Friday at the church.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald of Garber and Brian of Elkader; a brother, Harlan Tackman, and a sister, Arlene Tackman, both of Garnavillo.
