Elkader- Funeral services for Clarence Nading, 63, Mederville, who died at Veterans Hospital at Knoxville Sunday, where he had been a patient for 17 years, are set for Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Witt Funeral Chapel with burial in the Mederville Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Smith pastor of the Methodist church will conduct the services.
A veteran of World War I he is survived by his widow, Francis; five sons, Clarence Jr., in the Army; Calvin, Cedar Rapids; Gilbert, Rockford, Ill.; Robert, Cedar Rapids; and Russell, in the Air Force at Kansas City, Mo.; four daughters, Mrs. Robert Parker of Guttenberg, Mrs. Verne Debes of Edgewood, Mrs. Glen Harris of Puerto Rico and Mrs. Robert Reedy of Rockford, Ill.; four brothers, Virgil of Dubuque, Donald of Cedar Rapids, and Carl and George of Mederville; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Hubbard of Mederville, Mrs. Harry Everett and Mrs. Richard Hines both of Dundee.
