Garber- Harold J. Kruse died Thursday at the Central Community Hospital in Elkader. He was 68.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Elkport with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday at the Witt Funeral Home in Elkader.

Surviving are his wife, Lucille; four daughters, Dorothy Kruse of Guttenberg, Mrs. Dennis (Diane) Henning of Farmersburg, Mrs. Lyle (Marie) Torrey of Guttenberg, and Jeanne Kruse, at home; two sons, Norbert Kruse, at home, and John Kruse of Garber; two brothers, Louis Kruse of Elkader and Leonard Kruse of rural Garber; two sisters, Mrs. Louis (Elsie) Zittergruen of Guttenberg and Mrs. Alto (Lydia) Fehlhafer of Farmersburg; and two grandchildren.
