Elkader- John J. Miller, 73, died Friday, Feb. 13, 1998, in Elkader Care Center, following a long illness. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, by the Rev. Thomas Rhomberg. Burial with military rites: church cemetery. Friends may call from 3:30 to 8 p.m. Monday at Leonard Funeral Home, Elkader, and from 7 to 10:15 a.m. Tuesday at the church. A Scripture service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Mariella; daughters, Marcia Corlett of Elkader, Becky Gundacker of Elkader, Jane Quandahl of Talbot, Tenn., and Jill Smith of Wilton; sons, Sidney Miller of Winter Springs, Fla., and Michael Miller of Winston Salem, N.C.

Also surviving are 12 grandchildren.
