Elkport- Violet Marie Ingles, 67, was dead on arrival at Central Community Hospital, Elkader, following a sudden illness.

Surviving are four sons, Marvin of Colesburg, Robert of Elkport, and Clarence "Jack" and Arnold "Arnie", both of Garber; a daughter, Karen Bolsinger of Colesburg; a brother, Donald "Butch" Ingles of Greeley; three sisters, Marjorie Jones of Edgewood, Betty West of Strawberry Point and Norma Harry of McGregor; and 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, St. James Congregational Church, Garber. Burial: Elk Valley Cemetery, rural Elkport. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Vernon's, Edgewood.
