Monona- Jake D. Tayek, 26, of New London, Wis., formerly of the Monona area, died Saturday, June 28, 1997, in an auto accident near New London, Wis. Graveside committal services: 11 a.m. Friday, Monona City Cemetery. Schultz's Funeral Home, Monona, is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include a daughter, Kiersten of Manawa, Wis.; his parents, Ronald and Gloria Tayek of Oshkosh, Wis.; a brother, Ronald of New London, Wis.; a sister, Majil (Dewey) Gardner of Oshkosh, Wis.; and his paternal grandparents, Donald and Marcella Tayek of Monona.
