Mrs. Minna Kamin, Sr., passed away early Tuesday morning at the home of her son, Henry Kamin, on route one just west of town, at the age of 75 years. She was born in Germany in 1855 and came to Iowa with her parents while still a mere child and lived in Clayton county nearly her whole life. She leaves to mourn her passing two sons, Louis Kamin of Floyd and Henry at Luana, with their families consisting of four grandsons and one granddaughter and one great-grandchild. Her husband passed away twenty-four years ago. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon from the Lutheran church in Luana with Rev. Kumpf, her pastor, preaching the sermon. Burial was made in the Lutheran cemetery here.
