Garber- Evelon "Barney" W. Kraus, 87, died Friday in his house. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, St. Michael's Catholic Church. Burial: Mount Harmony Cemetery, rural Elkport. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg, and one hour before service time Monday at the church. At the funeral home today, there will be a wake service at 3 and Knights of Columbus rosary at 7:30 p.m.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Norton of Blairstown and Evelyn Solonynka of Amarillo, Texas; a sister, Cecilia Carroll and a brother, Cyril, both of Cedar Rapids.

Also surviving are three grandchildren and several step-grandchildren.
