Farmersburg- Herbert Henry Strien, 90, formerly of Farmersburg, died Monday in the Guttenberg Care Center, where he had resided since 1974. He was a livestock buyer for Dubuque Packing Co.

Surviving are a daughter, Iva Nell Koopman of Lakeland, Fla,; three sisters, Minnie Kurdelmeier of Harmony, Minn., and Alice Breitsprecher and Marie Probert, both of Farmersburg; and a brother, Carl of Waterloo.

Services: 2 p.m. Thursday, Schultz's, Monona, where friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today and where the family will be present from 2 to 4 p.m. today. Burial: Farmersburg-Wagner Cemetery, Farmersburg.
