McGregor- Reuben Tayek, 89, of Great River Care Center, died there Tuesday, Sept. 29, 1998, from complications of age. Services: 11 a.m. Friday, St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Monona. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Schultz's Funeral Home, Monona, where a rosary will begin at 7 and a wake service at 7:30 p.m.

Survivors include a niece, Kathleen Abruzzo of Apple River, Ill.; and cousins, Donald Tayek of Monona, Irene Pederson of Marquette and Edward Kozelka of Postville.

He worked for Western Electric Co. in Chicago for 40 years.
