Monona- Clara W. Bernhard, 93, died Sunday in Elkader Care Center, Elkader, following a short illness.

Surviving are two daughters, Doris Moellering of Garnavillo, and Joyce Hedemann of Monona; a sister, Helen Owen of Cedar Rapids; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services: Garden City United Methodist Church, Monona. Burial: Giard Cemetery, Giard. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at Schultz's, where there will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
