Monona- Verni Carl Kruse, 94, of Monona, died Thursday, May 29, 2008, at Good Samaritan Center, Postville, following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Monona. The Rev. Christopher Staley will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Monona. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Leonard Funeral Home, Monona, and one hour before service time Monday at the church.

Survivors include his daughter, Delpha Trappe of Monona; and one brother, Reuben of Monona.
