Strawberry Point- Francis W. Farmer, 79, died Sunday in his home after a sudden illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery, Cox Creek, with military rites. Friends may call 2 to 8 p.m. today at Roberson Funeral Home, where a Scripture service begins at 7:30 p.m.

Survivors include four sisters, Clara Farmer, Kathryn O'Brien and Daisy Kellogg, all of Strawberry Point, and Mae Berns of Garnavillo.
