Arlington News, Arlington, Iowa, Thur., 13 Aug. 1942.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Burns and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Will McFarlane, Mr. and Mrs. Will Seedorf, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Humphrey, Giles Hicks and family, Donald Page of Arlington, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Brooks of near Burlington, were among the relatives and friends attending the funeral of the late Marion McFarlane at Monona Sunday. The deceased was a son of Frank McFarlane of Froelick and a brother of Mrs. Fred Burns of this place.

Note: burial is in St. Paul Lutheran cemetery, Monona.
