Monona- Darlene Jean Halverson, 69, of Monona, died Saturday, July 16, 2005, in Gunderson Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse, Wis., following a brief illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, St. Paul Lutheran Church, Monona. The Rev. Allen Bidne will officiate. Burial: church cemetery. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Leonard Funeral Home, Monona, and one hour prior to the service time Thursday at the church.

Survivors include her husband, Palmer; and a son, Roger of Monona.
