Guttenberg- Carl E. Carlson, 89, was pronounced dead Monday at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital following a car-train accident that morning in Guttenberg. Services: 10 a.m. Friday, United Methodist Church, Guttenberg. Burial: Bethel Cemetery, rural Osterdock. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Marguerite; two sons, Roger of Dubuque and Lee of Belvidere, Ill.: a sister, Greta Oelsen of Arvika, Sweden.
