Des Moines- Iowa shivered today in near-zero temperatures after a night of light, intermittent snow which resulted in two deaths in automobile accidents.
Leslie Drallmeier, 22, of Monona, was killed and his brother, Wesley, injured, when their truckload of hogs overturned on a slippery hill near Marquette within a mile of their destination.

Funeral services for Leslie Drallmeier, aged 20, who was instantly killed when the truck in which he was hauling hogs tipped over on the Marquette hill Friday afternoon, were held Monday afternoon from the Lutheran church, and burial was made in the Lutheran cemetery. The pastor, Rev. H. W. Siefkes, officiated.
Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Betty Snyder Drallmeier, and a year-old son; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer W. Drallmeier, three brothers and one sister.
Leslie was an employee of the Bernhard lime works during the working months. He was an attendant at the local high school and lived in Monona most all of his life.
The sympathy of the entire community is extended the young widow and parents, brothers and sister of the young man.
